Ok I have a confession to make. I cheat a little bit on the yard. Because here in Florida our soil mostly consists of sand, there isn’t much organic matter and therefore not as much microbial as I’d like. Which means it’s almost impossible to deliver enough nitrogen to St. Augustine grass using organic fertilizer. Believe me I’ve tried. So I use Sta-Green with iron. But I still don’t use any pesticides or herbicides on it.
